TMI Automotive Products, Inc. was founded in 1982 by the Tuccinardi brothers, who began producing Volkswagen door panels in their family garage in Torrance, California. Over the years, TMI has continuously evolved to meet the changing demands of the automotive market, offering a wide range of interior components, including seating, consoles, carpet kits, door panels, convertible roof assemblies, headliners, and dash pads. Despite our growth, our commitment to hands-on, in-house construction has remained unchanged. Every aspect of our products, from the cutting and welding of raw materials to the meticulous stitching, foam pouring, and final assembly, is performed with hands-on precision.
